Are you virtually invisible as a cardiac technologist?

Without doubt, the digital age has changed the way we learn and communicate in medicine. It has also changed the way medicine is marketed to patients; cardiology services included. If you think marketing has nothing to do with you as a cardiac technologist, you may be right, but not in the way you expect.

By now, most private cardiology practices, and a growing number of hospital cardiology departments, have their own website (and possibly even a social media page). Look up any of these and you'll see information for prospective patients about the range of cardiac tests offered, and any preparation that might be required. There's usually information for referring doctors too.
