My gallbladder story
The pain came back with a vengeance. Finally told my husband I had to go to the ER. Find out that I have a lipase of over 1000 (pancreatitis) most likely due to gallstones. Tons of gall stones, in the gallbladder and lodged in the bile duct.
Gallbladder: want to learn more about it?
This pear-shaped sac primarily functions as a reservoir for bile that was synthesized at the level of the hepatocytes. The help I wish I had
I began this journey after a near-death experience directly caused by a bad gallbladder, as well as other associated health issues. While in recovery, digestion, especially after surgery, was the key to returning to a more normal life, but sadly my levels were not balanced at all.
