Outpatient & Prevention Protocol
The I-MASK+ protocol will revolutionize the treatment of COVID-19 - Dr. Paul Marik (Oct. 30, 2020)
In October 2020, the FLCCC Alliance developed a preventive and early outpatient combination treatment protocol for COVID-19 called I-MASK+. It’s centered around ivermectin, a well-known, FDA-approved anti-parasite drug that has been used successfully for more than four decades to treat onchocerciasis “river blindness” and other parasitic diseases. It is one of the safest drugs known. It is on the WHO’s list of essential medicines, has been given 3.7 billion times around the globe, and has won the Nobel prize for its global and historic impacts in eradicating endemic parasitic infections in many parts of the world.
Our medical discovery of a rapidly growing published medical evidence base, demonstrating ivermectin’s unique and highly potent ability to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 replication and to suppress inflammation, prompted our team to use ivermectin for prevention and treatment in all stages of COVID-19. Ivermectin is not yet FDA-approved for the treatment of COVID-19, but on Jan 14, 2021, the NIH changed their recommendation for the use of ivermectin in COVID-19 from “against” to “neutral”...
The I-MASK+ Protocol complements our MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol for Covid-19 from March 2020, which is intended for hospitalized patients. Both are physiologic-based combination treatment regimens developed by leaders in critical care medicine. All component medicines are FDA-approved, inexpensive, readily available and have been used for decades with well-established safety profiles. In October 2020, we added ivermectin as a core medication in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

The Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance has now developed a preventive and early outpatient combination treatment protocol for COVID-19 called I-MASK+. The “I” in this protocol for ivermectin, a well-known anti-parasite drug. Ivermectin has recently discovered anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties and a rapidly growing published medical evidence base demonstrating its unique and highly potent ability to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 replication.
... scientific studies that provide the medical evidence in support of the individual medical therapies that make up our MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol for Covid-19 (and in parts also our I-MASK+ Protocol):
In summary, based on the existing and cumulative body of evidence, we recommend the use of
ivermectin in both prophylaxis and treatment for COVID-19. In the presence of a global COVID-19
surge, the widespread use of this safe, inexpensive, and effective intervention would lead to a drastic
reduction in transmission rates and the morbidity and mortality in mild, moderate, and even severe
A founding principle underlying our I-MASK+ and MATH+ treatment protocols is that they evolve in accordance with both emerging therapeutic trials evidence as well as new pathophysiologic insights. When sufficient supportive evidence for a new therapeutic against COVID-19 emerges, we first add these medicines as “optional” components until such a time when we can better clarify their additive or synergistic efficacy to the existing core therapies.
This is our recommended approach to COVID-19 based on the best (and most recent) literature. This is a
highly dynamic topic; therefore, we will be updating the guideline as new information emerges. Please
check on the FLCCC Alliance website for updated versions of this protocol.
The FLCC is best known for its MATH+ COVID-19 treatment protocol. On October 14, TrialSite reported that this protocol included an Ivermectin option for prevention and early treatment of COVID-19. On October 31, the group formalized a new protocol for both prevention and early treatment of COVID-19, this time dubbed, I-MASK+. The “I” stands for Ivermectin, which is now the key ingredient in the protocol rather than an option.
Leading critical care specialists of the Front Line COVID19 Critical Care Alliance have developed MATH+ —a treatment protocol for critically ill COVID19 patients; and I-Mask+—a preventative and early outpatient COVID19 treatment protocol.
The I-Mask protocol is a blend of vitamins, minerals, and prescription medication that has been proven to lessen the severity of COVID infections. It's even been shown to prevent COVID infection as well. We've put together our own bundle...
